Food is pretty good if you' re into Carolina-style bbq. Food doesn't take too long to come out, but service can be very slow (i.e., hard to get a hold of your waitress for refills, etc). Whenever I've been here, it's insanely crowded and noisy. It's also mainly filled with drunk college students & alumni watching sports so if you're going for the food, definitely request a table in the back where it's still noisy, but not quite as bad as a table anywhere near the bar. The Brother Jimmy's in Murray Hill has slightly better food and is a bit quieter. The layout of the restaurant is also better because you don't have to squeeze your way through the packed drunken bar crowd to get to a table. Was this review helpful?

The drinks are AMAZING! The weekends are great because its similar to the location on Lexington but without all of the 21 year old fratty brats. Definitely my favorite place to watch football. They also have a great acoustic band every Wednesday night, and a hilarious comedy show called ENTENDRE ENTENDRE every other Monday with karaoke afterwards. Order the rib tips or the Humongous Nachos to start...out of control. Easily the most fun spot in Union Square. Great date spot too.Was this review helpful?

I feel sacrilegious for being indifferent to Brother Jimmy's, but I kinda am. I can take or leave their BBQ. I do enjoy watching games here and their frozen margaritas. The rest of the options in my eyes are just accessories. Was this review helpful?
