Great deals on happy hour. Definitely get the steak sandwich. They cut up probably a good 4-6oz quality cut of steak and put it on bread. It is thick cut so I just eat the steak with a fork and knife -- use the bread to dip in something else. Either shrimp dish or the tenderloin diablo sauce. Yum! Seriously -- advice for guys -- wanna impress a girl without busting the bank, take her here!

I can't believe I waited so long to eat at El Gaucho... we went last night, with a gift card, and still had a fairly spendy evening but it was worth it. The steaks were lovely and the sides were delicious - wine and scotch selection were very nice as well. And definitely get the bourbon chocolate cake for dessert... only sad thing: no espresso machine? Really, El Gaucho? We're in Seattle!

This is like a step back in time, from the steaks, the cigars, and the dress, you almost feel as though you're on madmen. But beyond that, it's a steakhouse, so the menu is standard, but executed well. Service is exemplary and very much old school, staff in suits and well team served. My qualm is the price, you wont leave for less than 100 per person,Maybe my rating is a little low, but I just don't find it to be interesting or worth the pricetag for standard steakhouse fare.

Top Notch! I went to El Gaucho for a business dinner and absolutely loved it. Great service, excellent staff, and fantastic food. Everything was perfect. Ask Larry for a recommendation on an Argentine Malbec, he will take care of you.

Good, but at these prices, it better be good. Value is not so great. The steaks are quite tasty, but I never get the sense that I'm getting much cooking benefit at a steakhouse. There's not much skill required to cook a steak in a commercial oven. Disliked: Value
