I can't believe I waited so long to eat at El Gaucho... we went last night, with a gift card, and still had a fairly spendy evening but it was worth it. The steaks were lovely and the sides were delicious - wine and scotch selection were very nice as well. And definitely get the bourbon chocolate cake for dessert... only sad thing: no espresso machine? Really, El Gaucho? We're in Seattle!

A fantastic date night spot. You can expect phenomenal food, drinks and romantic setting. You can head down to the Big Picture right after which is located right downstairs.

This is like a step back in time, from the steaks, the cigars, and the dress, you almost feel as though you're on madmen. But beyond that, it's a steakhouse, so the menu is standard, but executed well. Service is exemplary and very much old school, staff in suits and well team served. My qualm is the price, you wont leave for less than 100 per person,Maybe my rating is a little low, but I just don't find it to be interesting or worth the pricetag for standard steakhouse fare.

Super swanky, fancy restaurant. The food and steaks aren't better than the other Steakhouses around town, though. So, I feel it is very overpriced! It is definitely a place to take someone you are trying to impress. Be prepared; it will cost you hundreds of dollars! The time my fiance took me there for my birthday, it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk, so we had to yell at each other. That wasn't very romantic. By the end of the evening, I lost my voice. Apparently our waiter couldn't understand us either, because he brought us 16oz NY steaks, when we both ordered the petite. He ended up paying for it, too. Overall, it was a confusing, chaotic experience. We both wished it had been a more relaxing, romantic environment! Disliked: Atmosphere, Value

The service here is great and very acomodating. When we mentioned that the dinner was dinner for my wife leaving for deployment the manager by the name of coop went out of his way to hook us up with a few extra things. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the servers are perfect with their timing without being intrusive. On top of that the food was great also
