Along with Quinn's, this is one of my favorite places in Seattle. Great food, nice atmosphere, you get your money's worth, etc. Just really great. Was this review helpful?

The best I've found. I love Restaurant Zoe. It is my favorite place to eat because of the fantastic mix of flavors, excellent atmosphere and amazing service. If you want a delight for your senses this is the place to go - anything you have will be lick the plate delicious - although you might not want to do that. Go. Enjoy. Was this review helpful?

Wonderful night out Zoe's has been one of my favourite Seattle restaurants since right when I moved here. Every single time I've been there has been perfect. Note: not just good or great, perfect. The setting is chique and noble, very old-world, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and the food... oh, the food. We went with a very small set today, because both of us were - in fact - not the least bit hungry (bad planning on our behalf). The ricotta gnudi and sugar pumpkin rissotto as a starter, followed by the lettuce salad (sounds simple, tastes amazing - I don't know what the secret of the dressing is, but it really got us). The highlight was a side of squash with the main entree, a cod grilled to perfection, melting on the inside and crisp on the outside on a fennel-grapefruit mixture. I was worried about the fennel - not everyone likes its strong taste (including, oddly enough, me), but I'd gladly eat this tasty variation for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week or two. I would have never thought of the fennel-and-grapefruit combo. Again, a perfect night. Thank you, Zoe's!Was this review helpful?

Excellent food, service and decor We stumbled on this place, without any recommendations, on our first night visiting Seattle. The menu offerings are a fun and interesting combination of ingredients, both common and untypical. We had the frisee salad, the wild boar bolognese and the steelhead. The bolognese was some of the best sauce we've had, and we typically make our own pasta and sauce. The steelhead was cooked perfectly and the roasted cauliflower made me like cauliflower for the first time. We were served mid-course tastings of roasted beets with herbs and then a squash soup. They were very good and surprised us when they arrived. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. The decor was a slightly swanky style, but the high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows made it un-pretentious and relaxing. We didn't have room for dessert, but would definitely go back to try it.Was this review helpful?
